Kebakaran diduga kuat akibat konsleting listrik. "Api terjadi karena konsleting listrik di rumah kontrakan Haji Baduri. Ada 1 kamar yang ditinggalkan penghuninya, tiba-tiba saja ada percikan api," kata salah satu pengurus RW setempat, Maksus saat ditemui di lokasi, Sabtu (8/9/2012).
